Description
Origins, Genetics, History of Blueberry Kush
Blueberry Kush is a strong Indica hybrid of the infamous and famous OG Kush and the tasty Blueberry weed. It is an Oregon native. This strong Indica has a yummy smell but the hit will slow you down. It’s great for relaxation.
It’s parent plant, Blueberry, dates back to the 1970s when breeder DJ Short experimented with various varieties to make a weed with a delicious taste and aroma. In 2000, efforts at breeding this variety paid off when it won the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup.
The other parent, OG Kush, is the standard of power and performance for any weed, that is why we compare all of our strains to OG Kush.
Appearance and Smell
Blueberry Kush is a beautiful plant of medium height. Growers like to introduce a purple colour to the leaves, reminiscent of blueberries. This plant is full of white, sticky resins and trichomes, with a purple centre and long green leaves jutting out for sunlight.
The smell is of Blueberries, a trait borrowed from its famous parent, Blueberry weed. There are hints of sweetness, fruit, and flower in this delicious bud. The smoke is not harsh and the appearance is mouth-watering.
